my good friend nita salihu finished her undergraduate degree in graphic design from university of prishtina, and now is doing her masters in multimedia/graphic design also at the university of prishtina. She works for ogilvy in kosova, and as part of the independence celebrations, she designed the huge steel type that reads "newborn" set in DIN bold. This typography sculpture went in the center of prishtina, the capital of kosova, where the independence celebrations took place. the whole project took around 10 days to finish. most of the people celebrating the independence got to sign their names on the letters, including the president and the prime minister.

Why does it not surprise me that a friend of yours would be involved with the most photographed sculpture of the past week?. Because you are amazing, so it is not surprising that you would have amazing friends (yours truly notwithstanding). Mmmyah.
I want to sign!
bardh-majmuni! hahaha...
The "Newborn" was a huge undertaking of a dedicated team of boys and girls here at the company i work in - www.Ogilvyks.com - and was lucky enough to be part of the creative team in all this (and contribute in ways that I could). It was a storm of ideas that we generated, but Fisi somehow chose the one I proposed. So, it was an all-team effort and it looks beautiful really.kemi hi n'histori bardhyyy :) HUHHH. vigani mka ndihmu shumm o bo ni pjes Ogilvy :D
